Smithtown Auto Group is currently seeking to hire a motivated BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our growing team.

We proudly operate multiple high-volume franchise dealerships throughout Suffolk County, including Chevrolet, Infiniti, Volkswagen &Nissan 

This position is based out of our centralized BDC office located at Chevrolet of Smithtown in Saint James, NY.

As a BDC Representative, you will play a critical role in handling inbound customer inquiries, generating appointments, and supporting the sales operations across all dealership locations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer inquiries and driving appointments across all of our locations.

We invest heavily in advertising and subscribe to all major automotive lead-generation platforms, producing a high daily volume of inbound opportunities. This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven, organized, and customer-focused individual looking to build a long-term career within a fast-paced automotive group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internet leads from dealership websites, manufacturer websites, and third-party lead providers
  • Communicate with customers by phone, text, and email
  • Identify customer vehicle needs through active listening and effective questioning
  • Schedule and confirm sales appointment
  • Follow up with shown and missed appointments
  • Learn and follow dealership call and email processes
  • Attend weekly training and sales meetings
  • Communicate daily with dealership management teams

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Earning potential: $60-000 – $75,000+ annually
  • Base salary up to $800 per week for experienced candidates
