Service Advisor

Riverhead Motors, located on Route 58, Riverhead, NY, is seeking to hire a proven, high‑energy Service Advisor who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and knows how to drive customer satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Service Advisor experience in a new car franchise dealership preferred
• Strong understanding of OEM warranty procedures, policies, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction (CSI) and service department revenue
• Experience writing accurate repair orders and upselling maintenance services
• Ability to interpret repair orders, labor times, and manufacturer service guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build long‑term customer relationships and retain service business

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing trust and rapport
• Accurately document customer concerns and prepare detailed repair orders
• Recommend necessary maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines
• Clearly explain repair recommendations, timelines, and pricing to customers
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
• Monitor repair progress and provide proactive status updates to customers

• Salary $80-$100K per year / this is a commision based oportunity
