Parts Counter Personnel

 General Motors’ high-volume dealership located in Nassau County is currently seeking to hire an experienced Parts Counter Professional to join our team.

This is a fast-paced environment with strong demand, offering an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated individual to grow within a busy and successful operation.

Requirements:

• Prior General Motors parts experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of GM parts systems and inventory
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
• Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• The ability to communicate effectively with our Technicians, Management, as well as our customers
• Great customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Assisting retail walk-in customers
• Help all technicians get the correct parts in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitoring stock and putting away parts inventory in its correct location
• Counting parts inventory to maintain an accurate count of parts on the shelf, and other duties assigned by the Parts Manager
• Assist in answering wholesale parts phone calls 
• Knowledge of wholesale parts is a plus, but not mandatory
