The ideal candidate that we are seeking to hire must have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to manage workflow and apply updates to our Service Advisors, Management, and our customers. 

Responsiblites

  • Dispatch routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostic. brake work, engine repair, and transmission services to the appropriate technician
  • Keep track of technician performance and time flags, ensuring no unapplied time 
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders to be dispatched and currently being serviced on a route sheet
  • Collaborate with the team members to ensure the timely completion of repairs and excellent customer satisfaction 
  • Utilize alternate transportation management systems to help track the progress of the customer vehicle repairs and expedite the loaner vehicle return
  • Maintain a daily /weekly log of tech flag hours and provide it to the Service Director for weekly technician payroll
  • Report to the Service Director with any shop delays or any equipment issues in a timely fashion

Requirments 

  • Proven experience as an automotive shop dispatcher or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and technical understanding of vehicle service 
  • Experience with Reyonds & Reynolds / Ignite, DMS is a plus
  • Knowledge of new car dealership policy principles and practices
  • Understanding of the vehicle diagnostic and repair process
  • The ability to function well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of the team

  • Salary $80K – $120K per year / this is a commission-based opportunity
