Nassau County Multi-Line Import Dealer has a rare opening for an experienced Warranty Administrator!

You will be joining a high-volume, well-organized Service Department with a strong reputation and a steady workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to become part of a fast-paced dealership environment where your experience and accuracy will be valued.

We are seeking a candidate who understands the importance of proper warranty processing, strong communication, and maintaining manufacturer compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Processes warranty claims on a timely basis.
• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
• Verifies the criteria required by the factory.
• Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
• Post credits on the computer.
• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
• Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
• Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor
• Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins

Qualifications

• Basic automotive mechanical repair knowledge
• General working knowledge of automobiles, their systems, and how they relate to each other
• Excellent writing skills
• Interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Salary $75K – $125K per year, this is a commission-based opportunity
