Service Manager
Smith Haven Mazda, located on Middle Country Road in St. James, NY, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, including profitability, employee supervision, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Has a strong knowledge of Fixed Operations metrics and understands how to drive the business
- Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability
- Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above factory/company standards
- Oversees training and development of Service Department employees
- Oversees compliance with all warranty policies and procedures
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to manufacturers’ standards
- Ensures that the Service Department is compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintains a good working relationship with the factory
- Maintains excellent employee relations
- Detail-oriented / communicate effectively with our customers and our employees
- Proven track record of achieving goals
Job Requirements:
- Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction (CSI) results
- Team-oriented
- Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License
- Excellent references
We will provide you with the following:
- Salary $135K–$165K per year / This is a commission-based opportunity
