Service Manager

Riverhead Motors, a multi‑line dealership located on Rte 58, Riverhead, NY, is seeking a proven Service Manager to lead and drive our Service Department to the next level.

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations, profitability, team performance, and delivering top‑tier customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager experience at a franchise dealership
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams
• Knowledge of warranty processes, manufacturer programs, and compliance standards
• Maintains particular attention to Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores at or above manufacturers’ standards.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• High‑energy, results‑driven, hands‑on management style

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ability to answer technical questions about warranties, services, and repairs
• Oversees the training and supervision of service department employees.
• Partners directly with upper management to drive hiring, performance standards, and disciplinary decisions that build a top‑tier, results‑driven Service Department.
• Sets schedules/goals to service department employees.
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
• Make sure that the Service Dept is  compliant with applicable laws and regulations
• Maintains good working relationships with factory(s)
• Maintains excellent employee relations

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of automotive retail Service Management experience required
• Tekion experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Team-oriented
• Valid in-state driver’s license with a good driving record
• Excellent references

• Salary $150-$200K per year / this is a commision based oportunity
