Parts Counterman

New Car Franchise Domestic Dealer located in Nassau County, NY, is seeking to hire a Parts Counterman.

We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a very busy, fast-paced dealership Parts Department. General Motors experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

We are seeking to hire a candidate who can do the following;

• Fill technician or customer orders from stock inventory or submit a special order
• Mark and store parts in an orderly fashion according to the procedure
• Order and stock basic parts, supplies, and equipment
• Handle warranty parts replacement
• Computer proficiency is essential
• Must have good verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Prior automotive dealership Parts Department experience preferred
• Strong computer skills are essential
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy dealership environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

• Salary ranges from $65K-$75K per year (based on your level of experience)
