Parts Manager

Penn Toyota, located @ 2400 Northern Blvd, Greenvale, NY, is seeking to hire an experienced Parts Manager. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and hands-on professional who has the ability to oversee inventory, manage department staff, and ensure exceptional service to both our internal departments and retail customers.

The ideal candidate will have Toyota experience, strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of dealership parts department operations. We are seeking to hire a candidate who can do the following;

• Oversee the Parts staff
• The ability to forecast profitability every month
• Assist in reviewing sales, costs, and inventory every month
• Assist in hiring, training, motivating, and ensuring the performance of the Parts Department staff
• Ensure inventory is available when needed by the Service Dept
• Establish pricing to generate profits and maintain high Customer Satisfaction
• Ensure that inventory systems are performing well
• Ensure parts are appropriately coded so that the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock
• Oversee the monitoring and adjustment of stock to curtail the accumulation of unused or old parts

Job Requirements:

• Team-oriented
• Wholesale following is a plus, but not mandatory
• Prior parts management experience is required

We will provide you with the following:

• Salary $125 K-$150 K per year / this is a commission-based opportunity
• An aggressive end-of-the-month commission plan on gross profits
