Automotive Biller

New Car Franchise Import Dealer located in Nassau County is seeking to hire an experienced Biller to join the team.

‘This is an immediate hire opportunity! Prior automotive billing experience is mandatory!

Qualifications 

• Minimum 3–5 years of automotive billing experience in a new-car franchise dealership
• Prior supervisory or Head Biller experience strongly preferred but not mandatory
• The ability to communicate effectively with the staff and senior management 
• Thorough knowledge of retail, lease, wholesale, fleet, and dealer-trade transactions
• Strong understanding of DMV title, registration, lien, and payoff procedures

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of DMV and NYS Verify processes is mandatory
• Processing all out-of-state registrations and titles with a DMV service
• Follow up on all in-transit permits and lien releases
• Track incoming titles/file for duplicate titles when necessary
• Process all NYS titles and registrations
• Maintain and order all plate inventory
• Maintain and order documents needed for billing
• Supervise all wholesales, swaps, and trades, and make sure all titles and documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner
