Service Advisor

Acura of Huntington located @ 359 W Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station is seeking to hire a Service Advisor.

Acura has rated us as the #1 Acura dealer in the district!

CDK experience is preferred but not mandatory, Acura / Honda experience is a plus but not mandatory.

We are seeking a candidate who has the following skills;

• Excellent sales/people skills
• Great customer follow-up skills
• Excellent CSI
• Great communication skills as well as a proven track record
• The ability to multi-task
• Bi-lingual is a plus

Role & Responsibilities

• Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customers’ descriptions of symptoms; clarifying description problems; conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
• Checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems; getting customer approval to do additional work and explaining the work performed and the charges being billed
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and paper; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepares R.O’s by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and service required, obtaining approval signatures; entering the order into the service database system
• Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer’s approval of estimates; answering questions and concerns

Compensation

• Salary $75K-$90K per year / This is a commission-based opportunity
• CSI  bonuses
• We pay commissions weekly
