Warranty Administrator

Port Jeff Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram located on Rte  347, Port Jeff Station NY s looking to hire a Warranty Administrator.

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep. experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

We are seeking to hire a candidate that will be responsible for:

• Processing warranty claims on a timely basis
• Claims coding / claims submission
• Maintain warranty receivables
• Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
• Verifying criteria required by factory
• Reconciling all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
• Resubmitting all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off
• Following up on payment of outstanding claims
• Filing and maintaining all service records as required by the warrantor
• Keeping informed of all factory recalls and bulletins
• Adhering to manufacturer compliance procedures

Job Requirements

• Two + years experience as a Warranty Administrator preferred
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus
• Technical knowledge of vehicle service to verify proper documentation of repairs for warranty coverage and payment
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner over the phone and in person
• Well rounded knowledge of clerical duties within the Service Department
