Legend Autorama, located on Merrick Rd, Amityville, is seeking to hire an experienced and motivated Used Car Manager to lead our Used Car Dept and take us to the next level. You will be in charge of all three franchises, consisting of Porsche, Audi & Volkswagen.

Position Overview

If you’re a motivated leader with a proven track record in inventory management, desking deals, and building a strong sales team, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the used car operation, including purchasing, pricing, reconditioning, merchandising, and sales performance. Knowledge of internet marketing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of our Pre-Owned department
• Source and acquire quality inventory (auctions, trade-ins, direct buys)
• Monitor inventory aging and pricing strategy
• Manage inventory: appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, and merchandising
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets
• Develop marketing strategies to promote the sale of our pre-owned vehicles.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Lead, train, and motivate sales staff
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Used car Manager 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire a team
• Knowledge of automotive market trends and competitive pricing strategies
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset
• Familiarity with dealership CRM software, V – Auto, and inventory management systems

• Salary $125K – $150K per year / this is a commission-based opportunity
