The Experience Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Maserati Shop Foreman to work at our new state of the art facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As an automotive Shop Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of an automotive repair facility. They are the Front-Line Managers who ensure that the shop is running efficiently, safely, and profitably.

The following is a typical job description for an automotive Shop Foreman:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of automotive technicians, ensuring they work efficiently and safely while meeting performance targets
• Assign work orders to technicians, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems
• Work with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates for the cost and time required to complete the repairs
• Monitor the quality of work performed by technicians to ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard and that customers are satisfied with the results
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that the shop has the necessary materials to complete repairs and that inventory levels are optimized to minimize waste and expense
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all technicians follow safety protocols and that equipment and facilities are properly maintained
• Train and mentor technicians, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge to improve their performance and productivity
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including environmental regulations, workplace safety standards, and labor laws

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field is preferred
• Several years of experience working as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians to achieve performance targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex automotive issues to customers and technicians in a clear and concise manner
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive issues and develop effective solutions
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing automotive repair facilities, including workplace safety standards and environmental regulations
• Proficiency with computer software and tools commonly used in automotive repair s shops, including diagnostic tools and inventory management software.
