Parts Manager

The Tantillo Auto Group, with several new car franchises throughout Suffolk County, is seeking to hire a Parts Manager.  This is an immediate hire opportunity!

Do you have a minimum of three years’ experience as a Counter Person and are seeking an opportunity to advance into a management role? If so, we encourage you to apply as well.

We are seeking to hire a candidate who can do the following;

• Oversee the Parts Management staff
• The ability to forecast profitability every month
• Assist in reviewing sales, costs, and inventory every month
• Assist in hiring, training, motivating, and ensuring the performance of Parts Department staff
• Ensure inventory is available when needed by the Service Dept
• Establish pricing to generate profits and maintain high Customer Satisfaction
• Ensure that inventory systems are performing well
• Ensure parts are appropriately coded so that the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock
• Oversee the monitoring and adjusting of stock to curtail the accumulation of unused or old parts

Job Requirements:

• Team-oriented
• Wholesale following is a plus
• Valid NYS Driver’s License
• Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite experience is preferred, but not mandatory

• Salary $ 90K-$125K per year / this is a commission-based opportunity
