Office Manager

The Tantillo Auto Group has an immediate opening for an Office Manager with one of our new car franchise dealers located in Suffolk County.

If you are currently an experienced Automotive Bookkeeper, with at least four years of experience and have the knowledge that is stated below, you need to apply as well.

Your responsibilities will include the following;

• Report to the Corporate Controller and Assistant Corporate Controller
• Responsible for NYS Sales Tax
• Bank Reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining of required forms, payroll taxes and deposits, income taxes, retirement plan records
• Handle floor plan checks and monthly reconciliation  and curtailments
• Oversee payroll processing
• Responsible for schedules and general ledger
• Review the general ledger for accuracy
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collections
• Strong ability to reconcile accounts, and expenses and run reports
• Running background & motor vehicle checks
• Completing new hire employment forms
• All aspects of compliance
• Timely posting & submission of Payroll
• Medical enrollments, terminations, and Cobra
• The ability to fill in to another position within the office on a as need basis

 Requirements and Qualifications

• Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite  experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ·Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Solid time management skills; able to prioritize
