Shop Foreman

Nassau County German dealership specializing in German vehicles is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead and support our service team.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent diagnostic, organizational, and communication skills. German-brand new-car dealership experience and A-Level Technician experience are required. ASE certification is a plus, but is not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, supervise, and support automotive technicians
• Assign repair orders based on technician experience and workload
• Provide hands-on technical and diagnostic assistance
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
• Review completed repairs for quality and accuracy
• Monitor workflow, productivity, efficiency, and repair times
• Ensure work meets manufacturer and dealership standards
• Assist Service Advisors with repair recommendations and estimates
• Help technicians achieve production and customer-service goals
• Support technician training and professional development
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
• Communicate staffing, workflow, and equipment needs to management

QUALIFICATIONS

• German-brand new-car dealership experience is required
• A-Level Automotive Technician experience is required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Previous leadership or Shop Foreman experience preferred
• ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented work ethic

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary: $110K – $150K per year, based on your level of expereince and productivity
