Service Dispatcher

Nassau County Multi Line Dealer is seeking to hire a Service Dispatcher now!

If you are currently a Technician and are tired of turning a wrench or a Service Advisor that would like to take a step up you need to apply as well.   We Are Willing To Train You!

You must have the ability to do the following …

• Assure complete utilization of Technicians available
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Learn to Book and Code
• Adherence to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation
• Keep the Service Advisors informed of progress
• Handle all internal repair orders in Service Dept correctly and efficiently
• Assure complete utilization of workshop capacity
• Ability to prioritize job assignments to maximize efficiency
• Determine daily shop capacity using all available time of productive personnel and control work distribution
• Record all repair orders, determine time required to perform work and when work is to be started so that it is finished when promised
• Assign each repair to a qualified, productive employee and adjust distribution control according to assignment
• Mark employee number and place repair order in an organized fashion in repair order rack
• Assure proper use of time clock by all productive employees and application of work orders
• Communicate with Service Director and Service Advisors to keep them informed at all times of available shop capacity 
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred but not mandatory
