Competition Subaru, located on Middle Country Rd, Smithtown, NY, is seeking an experienced Automotive Salesperson who is enthusiastic and has a passion for selling to be a part of our team!

Qualifications:
- New or Used Car sales experience required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, management, and others
- Must be able to combine customer service skills with strong closing skills
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
- Must have a valid and clean NY York State driver’s license
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Experience using a CRM- preferably Momentum
Responsibilities:
- Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
- Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followed
- Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
- Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
- Maintains accurate sales documentation
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
- Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
