Parts Manager

Volkswagen of West Islip, located on Sunrise Hwy, West Islip, is seeking to hire a Parts Manager.

If you’re currently employed in a Parts Department as a Counterman and possess German experience with brands like Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, or Porsche, and are looking to advance into a Management role, this opportunity is for you!”

We are seeking to hire a candidate who can do the following;

• Oversee the Parts Management staff
• The ability to forecast profitability every month
• Assist in reviewing sales, costs, and inventory every month
• Assist in hiring, training, motivating, and ensuring the performance of Parts Department staff
• Ensure inventory is available when needed by the Service Dept
• Establish pricing to generate profits and maintain high Customer Satisfaction
• Ensure that inventory systems are performing well
• Ensure parts are appropriately coded so that the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock
• Oversee the monitoring and adjusting stock to curtail the accumulation of unused or old parts

Job Requirements:

• Team-oriented
• Wholesale following is a plus
• Valid NYS Driver’s License

We will provide you with the following:

• Salary $ 100 K-$125 K per year / this is a commission-based opportunity
