Service Advisor

Lexus of Smithtown, located on Middle Country Rd. Smithtown, is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team!

As a Service Advisor, you will be the bridge between our valued customers and our service technicians. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless service experience, from greeting guests to explaining repair recommendations and finalizing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly in the service drive and assess their vehicle service needs
• Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs and maintenance
• Communicate with technicians to ensure timely service and updates
• Maintain excellent communication with the customer throughout the service process
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage
• Educate customers on recommended services and warranty coverage
• Maintain service records and process payments efficiently
• Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns proactively

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred.
• CDK experience a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using service management software
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
