Used Car Manager 

Legend Nissan / Infiniti, located on Jericho Tpke, Syosset, NY is is seeking to hire an experienced  Used Car Manager to lead the team! 

Are you ready to lead a dominant pre-owned department with a large pre-owned inventory and drive exceptional profitability in the Nassau County market?

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Acquisition & Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of our pre-owned vehicles, from appraisal (trade-ins) and acquisition (auctions/wholesale) to reconditioning, display, and final sale
• Maximize Profitability: Strategically price over 100 used cars in stock to ensure competitive market positioning while meeting gross profit targets and managing turn time (aged units).
• Sales Team Leadership: Work closely with the sales team to train, motivate, and direct their efforts toward maximizing used car volume and F&I penetration.
• Market Strategy: Analyze market trends, auction data, and local competition to maintain a diverse and desirable inventory mix that aligns with customer demand & inventory control
• Operations & Compliance: Ensure all used vehicle operations, documentation, and sales practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Internet Marketing:  Though  knowledge of advertising and marketing of used cars online 

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Used Car Manager or Sales Manager with a proven track record of high volume and profitability
• Expert knowledge of vehicle appraisal, acquisition, wholesale, and retail pricing strategies.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and metrics-driven environment.

Compensation:

• Salary $125K -$175K per year /  this is a commission-based opportunity
