Office Manager
New Car Franchise Import Dealer located in Nassau County is seeking to hire an Office Manager.
If you are currently an experienced Automotive Bookkeeper, with at least four years of experience and have the knowledge that is stated below, you need to apply as well.
Your responsibilities will include the following;
- Responsible for NYS Sales Tax
- Monthly financial statements, 13th month and working with accountants
- Bank Reconciliations
- Handle floor plan checks and monthly reconciliation
- Oversee payroll processing
- Responsible for schedules and general ledger
- Review the general ledger for accuracy
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collections
- Strong ability to reconcile accounts, and expenses and run reports
- Running background & motor vehicle checks
- Completing new hire employment forms
- All aspects of compliance
- Timely posting & submission of Payroll
- Medical enrollments, terminations, and Cobra
- Address H.R. complaints and requests
- The ability to fill in to another position within the office on a as need basis
Requirements and Qualifications
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ·Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Solid time management skills; able to prioritize
