General Sales Manager
High-Volume New Car Franchise Dealer located in Nassau County is seeking to hire an experienced General Sales Manager to take the reins of a fast-paced, profit-driven operation.
This is a rare opportunity for a proven leader who can drive performance, maximize profitability, and build a winning team.
A proven track record is mandatory. You will also be implementing monitoring and maintaining all systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Sales Department (New & Pre-Owned)
- Take full responsibility for the Pre-Owned Department performance
- Desk deals and work closely with the sales team to maximize front & back-end gross
- Monitor inventory levels, turn rates, and pricing strategy
- Drive showroom traffic conversion and BDC performance
- Maintain high CSI standards while pushing profitability
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- Manage, train, and lead a team of Sales Managers and Sales Professionals
- The ability to be a strong closer
- Actively support, encourage, and motivate the sales team daily to maintain high productivity
- Maintain the standards of integrity, trust, and respect among our dealership and with customers
- Be accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments, and call follow-up
- Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite experience is a plus, but not mandatory
We will provide you with;
- Salary range of $175K – $200K per year / This is a commission-based opportunity
