General Sales Manager

Nassau County New Car franchise Domestic Dealer is seeking to hire a General Sales Manager now!  Knowledge of Desking new and Pre-Owned vehicles is required. You will be working in a very high-volume, dealership with a very aggressive advertising budget!  

Prior Sales Management experience is a must

We are seeking to hire a 3candidate with talent, motivation, and drive who will be responsible for overseeing our Pre-Ownd Dept as well! A proven track record is mandatory. You will also be implementing monitoring and maintaining all systems and processes.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

• Minimum of 3 years automotive Sales Management experience
• Manage, train, and lead a team of Sales Managers and Sales Professionals
• The ability to be a strong closer
• Knowledge to evaluate Pre-Owned Dept and Pre-Owned cars
• Actively support, encourage, and motivate the sales team daily to maintain high productivity
• Maintain the standards of integrity, trust, and respect among our dealership and with customers
• Be accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments, and call follow-up
• Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite  experience is a plus, but not mandatory

• Salary range of $175K – $200K per year  / This is a commission-based opportunity
