General Sales Manager

Smith Haven Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram located on Middle County Rd, St James, NY, is seeking to hire a General Sales Manager!

We are seeking to hire a candidate that is driven, dynamic, and experienced and ready to lead and take our dealership to the next level! If you have 3+ years of proven success in Sales Management and a track record of exceeding goals, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and inspire our entire sales operation — including

• Desk Managers
• F&I Department
• BDC Dept 
• Sales team
• Oversee our separate Used Car Facility
• Drive performance and profitability across all departments
• Recruit, train, and develop a championship-level sales and management team
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and results are delivered
• Build strong customer and ownership relationships that last
• Analyze market trends and create action plans that produce results
• Forecast unit sales and gross profit with precision
• Manage and optimize new car inventory for maximum turn and profit

What We’re Looking For:

• A proven leader with at least 3 years of General Sales Manager experience
• A motivator who leads by example and drives results through people
• Excellent communication, organization, and forecasting skills
• A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and dealership growth / CSI

We will provide you with a:

• Salary $175 K – $225 K per year/earnings based on experience / this is a commission-based opportunity
• A strong salary, plus commission, plus demao allowance
