New Car Franchise General Motors Multi Line Dealer located in the Brooklyn / Queens area is seeking to hire a General Manager.

General Motors experience is preferred but not mandatory.

This candidate has overall responsibilities for the performance and results of the dealership. They will oversee hiring and development of the team, setting and achieving Fixed and Variable sales targets, and managing the P&L of the store.

The highest professionalism and integrity are essential for consideration.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of (3) years of stable and verifiable employment history
• Must be able to show evidence of strong results and top-tier CSI
• Must be well organized and demonstrate excellent Customer Service and PR skills.
• Must have strong leadership, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Must have strong knowledge of pre-owned market.  
• Must be able to build a team
• Must be able to desk new and used car deals

We are seeking to hire a candidate that has the following;

• The ability to take the dealership to the next level of profitability
• Create action plan and effectively manage Sales, Service, Parts Depts
• Hire, mentor and monitor the performance of department heads
• Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities
• Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded
• Responsible for profitability in both New, Used, Service & Parts Departments
• Assist in developing an advertising and marketing plan
• Work with the Managers to review forecasts and profits for each department
• Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the various dealership departments – F&I, Accounting, Pre-Owned, Service, and Parts Depts
• Create annual dealership sales forecasts
• Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturer, lenders & vendors
