Service Director

East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston, part of the family-owned and operated East Hills Auto Group since 1975, seeks a world-class Service Director.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage employees, set goals, control costs, and ensure customer satisfaction. A minimum of 5 years as a Service Manager is required. General Motors experience is not required, but is a BIG PLUS.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Hire, train, and motivate service employees
• Prepare and administer operating departmental budgets while controlling operating costs
• Establish and maintain world-class customer relationships for repeat and referral business
• Manage scheduling, repair workflows, loaner fleet, and customer interactions
• Optimize parts inventory to ensure attainment of sales
• Understand and comply with relevant regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal
• Maintain reporting systems and monitor performance metrics

Compensation:

Earning potential $200,000 – $300,000 per year, depending on experience, track record, and performance
