Pre Owned BDC Personnel

 

Atlantic Chevrolet Cadliiac located on Sunrise Hwy, Bay Shore, NY is looking for a Pre Owned Internet Sales Specialists to join our team. Automotive experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

You are the first person our customers speak to via the Internet or phone. BDC Representatives are responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet requests as well as for scheduling appointments. We are looking for candidates who have a professional voice and are sympathetic to the customer’s needs. This is a great career opportunity for applicants with automotive experience or any other customer service/telephone contact experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all internet & phone calls inquiries to determine customer needs
  • Schedule appointments for customers to demo the vehicle
  • Makes phone calls to customers after they visit the showroom to find out about their experience
  • Make outbound calls to our current customers to remind them of lease termination or equity positions in retail vehicles
  • Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-added products, and services via phone, email, text, or chat
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
  • Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bilingual a plus!
  • Basic phone and computer/internet skills  
  • Must have a clear, articulate, and pleasant speaking voice   
  • Customer service and/or telephone contact experience
  • Sales experience a plus (any industry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others
  • Must be friendly and upbeat and like talking on the phone, helping people find answers to their questions
  • Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail  
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask  
  • Excellent written and verbal bilingual communication skills are a plus
  • Excellent follow-up skills

  • Salary range $75K – $100 per year / This is a commission-based opportunity
  • Hourly salary,  commission on appointments, and bonuses on sales
