As a Shop Foreman, your responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the Service Department, managing a team of technicians, scheduling repairs and maintenance, ensuring quality control, and communicating with customers about their vehicle’s needs. Strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills. is a huge plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring shop efficiency and productivity
• Working with technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles to BMW standards
• Ensuring that the tech performs proper repair and service procedures
• Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained
• Creating and managing the team, maintenance, and work schedules.
• Enforcing safety regulations and protocols.
• Strong Automotive technician background
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Manage repair orders, ensuring proper documentation and timely completion of repairs
• Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely delivery of services

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive repair
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
• Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team of technicians
• Experience working with a high-line new car franchise dealership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
