Service & Parts Director

Very High Volume New Car Franchise Long Island Domestic Dealer is seeking to hire an experienced Service & Parts Director.

We have a very busy shop and are seeking a candidate who has a minimum of at least (4) years of managerial experience. You will be overseeing our entire New & Pre-Owned Dept operation.

We are seeking to hire a candidate who has the following skill set:

• Strong motivational, leadership, and communication skills
• Oversee Service & Parts Managers and fill in if needed
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and properly handled
• Hire, train, and develop staff into top-of-the-line automotive service and parts staff
• Create goals for the departments and assist the dealerships in achieving those goals
• Ensure all staff has completed any relevant training and have the proper certifications
• Handle customer complaints being made on a timely basis
• Create budgets and keep track of expenses
• Analyze prices on all products to ensure items are marketed at proper prices and competitive within the area.
• Handle customer complaints promptly
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on CSI
• Strong ability to monitor, implement & maintain all systems and processes
• Monitor Service & Parts department performance with key metrics, including revenue, profitability & efficiency
• Ensure adherence to safety & Compliance objectives.
